The Korean Fiber Artists’ Association was founded in 1984, with most Authoritative fiber artists who have led the korean fiber arts.
Art exhibitions, as well as cooperation with domestic related organizations and overseas exchanges, etc.
have been committed to the development of Korean fiber arts.
THE KOREA FIBER ART BIENNALE
The Korea Fiber Art Biennale, which is a regular exhibition, has been an opportunity
to show the expanding expression method of modern fiber art through various works ranging from flat, three dimensional.
Presenting New Possibilities of Korean Fiber Arts
In the future, the Korea Fiber Artists’ Association will continue to explore the sustainable expandability as well as the meaning of modern art
through the tradition and modernity based on the structural and physical characteristics of the medium of fiber.
Role for Development of Korean Fiber Art
As a diversified group of modern arts, KFAA are striving to maintain our reputation as a leader in the tradition of Korean fiber art.
To this end, we plan to open up a unique field of Korean fiber art by opening domestic and overseas planning exhibitions.
International Competitiveness and Creative Content Development
the 21st century is a time of culture, and the role of fiber artists is more important than ever.
We will focus on developing creative cultural contents internationally.
